Two weeks into what is predicted to be the coldest winter in 124 years (I read it in the Daily Telegraph, so it must be true!), it's barely been above 10 degrees, and this gem is flowering its head off, out of season.
Thrown in as a free gift with a purchase of other irises last summer, it is labelled as 'Kentucky Gentleman'.
Ignore the weeds in the background - did I mention how cold it's been? 🥶
